I don't mind the efforts to get signatures...BUT it bothers me immensely to hear when ANY state funds (my tax dollars) are being used in the effort via using public school property, public school copy machines, or public school money. That is illegal and wrong. Parents for Choice should file a suit.

I am also concerned at the tactic of collecting signatures at elementary schools. My concern is more about the perceived cohesion. There is a table in front of the office at my son’s school. When I pass by without signing every secretary there takes notice. Are they then telling my son’s teacher? Is he now on her bad list? Talk about lack of choice.
