You know, it is so notoriously difficult to gauge tone & attitude in E-mail and blog text. What one person writes in good natured fun is sometimes interpreted differently by others. One reader contacted me today and said we were being snide. So I looked up the word. And reread the post. And I have to say he was probably right. I sometimes draft this thing in the cold dark hours of morning before that warm feeling toward my fellow man kicks in.

So I changed one of the items, above. Same meaning. Less gratuitous disparagement. I've got to remember this is the Senate Site and be civil and functional. It's a stretch.
