A few new committee assignments

Heads up – to those of you who track this sort of thing.

Senate District 23′s new senator, Todd Weiler, will replace Dan Liljenquist as Chair of the Retirement and Independent Entities Committee. He will also serve on the Business and Labor Standing Committee, Judiciary, Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Standing Committee, and the Social Services Appropriations Committee.

Ralph Okerlund will replace Dan Liljenquist on the Senate Rules Committee. Stuart Reid will replace Senator Chris Buttars, who retired earlier this year.

Allen Christensen is appointed to the Senate Ethics Committee, replacing Dan Liljequist.
