Today at 12:00pm, Utah leaders will unveil a much-anticipated bill that will address nondiscrimination and religious liberties. Senator Steve Urquhart, Senator Stuart Adams, Senator James Dabakis, Representative Brad Dee, Equality Utah leaders, representatives of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, and other legislative and community leaders will come together for the event.
We invite members of the media to join us in the Capitol Gold Room for the occasion. For those of you who can’t make it to the Capitol, the conference will be live-streamed at our YouTube Channel, or you can view it here:
Both Senator Adams and Senator Urquhart will serve as joint chief sponsors of the legislation. Bill language will become available this morning prior to the press conference at the following link: SB296, Antidiscrimination and Religious Freedoms Amendments.
