Interested parties can easily watch and listen as any bill makes its way through the legislative process.
You can search ALL the bills working their way through the legislative process– past, present, and future. In addition, the Quick Bill Search function on the right-hand side of the home page lets you to find any bill back to 1997 by keyword, bill number, or sponsor name.
Click on the Bill Status of any bill to find how your legislator voted (one of our most common constituent questions). See 2005’s SB 184 for one example.
You can see research drafting and research files, interim committee histories, and floor debates to better understand the intent of a bill. Currently our on-line audio files only go back to 1990. We’re working on getting the rest of them digitized and posted on the web. If you need to listen to audio debate prior to 1990, please give us a call.
