Comment Graveyard

DRAFT

There are two ways your comment might end up here.

1) Be a hapless soul who posts thoughtful insight on the old Senate Site, without realizing FTP access is no longer functioning.  We get the Email notification, but the comment never publishes.

2) Say something that is so obnoxious it gets booted from a blog post, but which has redeeming features.  Redeeming Features are yet to be fully defined, but might include making me laugh.

I want to thank the Utah lawmakers who are fighting this healtcare bill. Once American’s wake up to find out they have been hood winked by Obama, Pelosi and Reid, they will be boohooing mightly. There will be absolutely no difference in the cost of insurance or government care, except maybe Obama care will be higher. When government takes over healthcare we lose our free agency and our freedoms. I just don’t understand why people cannot see it. God help us!

HATERS, CHRISTIANS, MUSLIMS, JEWS IT DOES NOT MATTER THEY JUDGE AND THEY HATE. THEY BUILD TEMPLES INSTEAD TAKING CARE OF PEOPLE.
HATERS, IF I WERE IN THIS GROUP I WOULD NOT BE LOOKING FORWARD TO THE SECOND COMING I WOULD BE SCARED OF HELL.

JESUS CHRIST WOULD APPROVE OF THE RE-DISTRIBUTION OF WEALTH. IF YOU CAN PROVIDE SCRIPTURE FROM THE BIBLE PRIOR TO THE KING JAMES VERSION THAT I CAN TRANSLATE FROM GREEK OR HEBREW TO ENGLISH THAT STATES DIFFERENT PLEASE DO.

IF YOU LOOK UP A SCRIPTURE FROM THE BIBLE PRIOR TO KING JAMES AND TRANSLATE IT YOU WILL SEE THE LIES THAT HAVE BEEN CREATED!

GOD LOVES EVERYONE INCLUDING GAY PEOPLE, GOD LOVES MEN WHO LOVE MEN, WOMEN WHO LOVE WOMEN AND HE ALSO LOVES THE BREEDERS THAT CONTINUE TO PROVIDE YOUNG HEALTHY GAY PEOPLE TO CONTINUE WHAT HE CREATED.

AFTER ALL GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES HE MAD AS ALL IN HIS IMAGE. DO YOU HATE GOD. I WOULD BE SCARED IF I WERE YOU!

  8. Marty Jensen has left a new comment on your post “Word from Senator Greiner”:

The Sutherland Institute’s response reveals their disregard for the enforcement of the law and their fuzzy-headed reasoning that a requirement to abide by immigration laws is somehow inhumane. What is harsh about adherence to the law?

While we may not have exacting statistics, crime by any illegal alien is a crime which would have been prevented by keeping that illegal alien out of the country, . . . but since Sutherland believes illegal aliens don’t commit crimes, there is no need to know who these illegals are.

The facts disagree. Illegal aliens do commit crime. They have by definition already broken the law. Many are in prison now for violent crimes.

Although Sutherland’s “research” indicates SB 81 is an unnecessary solution, common sense suggests otherwise. No one thinks that all illegal aliens are violent criminals. Nor can we predict for certainty who will commit crimes once they’re in the U.S. But some illegal aliens are violent criminals, and by not enforcing the laws and the border, we allow the criminal element into our society (and allow their escape back into Mexico after committing a violent crime), which is precisely why we need to know who is entering the country.

Enforcing immigration laws allows people to emigrate to the United States in a manner which is safer for both the emigrant and United States citizens. Effective enforcement of the law is the answer to our illegal alien problem

We don’t need any more “introspection and honesty.” What we need to do is require every person entering the country to obey the law.
